CONGRATULATORY SPEECH FOR NICKIESHA BURCHELL

Written and Delivered by Fabian Stennett – Anorock TV Poll

Ladies and gentlemen,
Citizens of South St. James,
Supporters, friends, and fellow Jamaicans,

Tonight, we don’t just celebrate a win—we celebrate a moment of rebirth and revolution. A moment when the people of South St. James reclaimed their voice, their dignity, and their future.

At the center of this moment is a remarkable woman: Nickiesha Burchell. A woman who didn’t just run a campaign—she led a movement. A woman who didn’t seek power for power’s sake, but came with humility, purpose, and the blessing of the people. And I can say without hesitation: she had mine.

Nickiesha, your victory is more than historic—it is prophetic. You have done what many said could not be done: you have upset the apple cart, shaken the foundation, and handed South St. James a new direction.

I am Fabian Stennett, founder of Anorock TV Poll, and I proudly say today—we called it. Just like we called it in the local elections.

I told Gregory Wint that he would lose. I said Swaby and Martin Kellier would win. I made that statement right at Jennifer’s shop in Roper Lane, in front of Floyd Green. They laughed. But they are not laughing now.

I told Homer Davis, Coke, and Gavin they would lose. I told Jagon, I told Roger Dowe. They dismissed it. But what they failed to realize is that true insight comes from the ground—not the boardroom.

Don’t mistake poverty for ignorance. Don’t confuse silence with powerlessness.

I may not be rich in money, but I am rich in knowledge, wisdom, and connection. I walk with the authority of a Maroon Chief, rooted in these hills, guided by the voices of our ancestors, and connected deeply to the spirit of this land.

Nickiesha listened. She respected the ground game. She didn’t push aside the small man—she stood with us. She received my blessing, and she honored it. Ask Haris Campbell—every morning I sent her words of motivation. And she received them with humility and strength.

This victory is for the people. For the poor. For the dismissed. For those who dared to dream beyond what they were told was possible.

Let it be remembered that Anorock TV Poll has never been wrong. Not in the local government elections. Not in the general. Because we don’t follow the noise—we follow the heartbeat of the community.

To those who laughed—laugh no more. And next time, don’t underestimate the voice that speaks from the grassroots.

Nickiesha Burchell, your journey has just begun—but what a beginning it is. You are more than a Member of Parliament—you are a symbol of what happens when humility meets wisdom, and when the people are truly heard.

Congratulations. South St. James is proud. Jamaica is watching. And history has taken note.

One love. One people. One future.
Blessings and respect.

THE PUM PUM PAPER By Fabian Stennett

The Untouchable Power of the Pum Pum: How It Built Empires, Broke Kingdoms, and Bankrolled Hustles. By:  Fabian Stennett — “Pum Pum Prophet”? 😏] Let’s be honest: if you think world history was built on strategy, guns, and politics alone, you’ve been reading the censored version. Behind the crown, behind the throne, behind every great man who mysteriously started making wild decisions... there’s one undeniable truth: The pum pum has always been the real power behind the power. Remember Helen of Troy? Yeah — they said she had “the face that launched a thousand ships,” but we know what really launched them. Kings risked it all, wars were fought, nations collapsed. All because of one woman and her sacred, unmatched pum pum. Cleopatra? Sis had Roman generals fighting wars AND writing poetry. That’s queen-level coochie control. Don’t play. Fast forward a few centuries and step into the concrete jungle. The story shifts, but the influence doesn’t. That same power was now building homes i...

McKay's influence was felt in multiple aspects of the community, from transportation to business, and even in the preservation of cultural traditions tied to Maroon strong captain Iligimo Kojo (Cudjoe). Pioneering in Business and Transportation Daniel McKay was the first man to own a truck in Black River Road Tangle River, a significant milestone that marked the beginning of modern tr...

A Call To Action By Fabian Stennett

--- Southern St. James in Crisis: A Call to Action Decades of Neglect, A Community's Plea for Change By Fabian Stennett Artist & Cultural Anthropologist | Chief of Furry Town Maroons --- Introduction: The Crisis That Won’t Go Away In the southern belt of Jamaica’s St. James parish, beneath the shadows of lush mountains and rich cultural history, lies a truth that the nation has too long ignored: a community crying out for survival. For over four decades, Southern St. James has been mired in neglect—without consistent access to clean water, facing crumbling infrastructure, and burdened by failed political promises. It’s a quiet crisis, overlooked by the headlines, yet resounding in every household, every empty pipe, and every sick child. This is more than a story—it is a call to action. --- The Weight of Neglect: A Generational Burden Walk through the districts of Cambridge, Maroon Town, Bickersteth, and Welcome Hall, and you’ll hear the same refrain: “Wi cyaah get nuh watah.”...
